I have two of them one of them just stop working, I asked for replacement and I get the new one and new fan works just fine.
it gives you enough cooling, better then I expected, it might be not enough for desert camping. I am in CA and it is ok. It might stop suddenly so do not trust this machine.

great fan. I have used it with batteries and with cord , works great both ways. has a lot of power.
