16" Oscillating Wall-mount Fan
16", 2 Tone Neutral Finish, Wall Mounted Oscillating Fan, 3 Speed, 3 Prong Grounded Cord Set, OSHA Approved, Assembled In USA.
Customer Review: Works Great
I bought this for my parents to use in their garage. They love it. Say it works great. They just ordered another one for their bathroom.
Customer Review: Bad experience.
I bought 2 of these (model 3016) fans. I thought the 1st one was just a bad apple. However both of them had blades that were out of balance. This made them vibrate, and when you hung them on the wall the whole wall vibrated, loudly. This is poor workmanship and or quality control. I went with another brand.

Customer Review: Nice fan, but again with the BEEPS
This fan does what I bought it to do, move air around. In that respect, it is awesome for a great price.
However, every time you turn on the blasted thing, it makes an annoying beep. Also when you press any button on the remote to switch modes, the dag-blasted BEEP. Why?
I live in an apartment building with wafer-thin walls and I feel bad for my neighbor when I go to bed really late. I know I can hear the beeps of other people's microwaves and air conditioners so I know that obnoxious beep in the middle of the night probably cuts through her like a hot knife through butter.
I also have a space heater that makes even more obnoxious beeps. Why? Is this some kind of government regulation? Can't they make the audio feedback a little less shrill? A more blunted, less harsh sound? Sheesh!
I'm going to try to take this thing apart and disable it's speaker. After that, this will be the perfect fan.
Customer Review: would be nice if I received it
This fan looks great, but despite saying that it is in stock, the company that Amazon outsources with for this product does not actually have any available. After several weeks and sending me two emails telling me that it is delayed, the order was finally cancelled. Yippee.

Customer Review: Great fan
I love this fan, very good looking and very quiet at its lowest setting. The light is very bright with no control to dim it, that was no problem to me because I wanted a bright ceiling light.
Customer Review: Nice
Very quiet with clean understated looks. If you want a high quality fan that blends in tastefully then this is one to consider. The remote is simple, works well and can be wall mounted.

Customer Review: Hunter Palermo
The fan works good very quiet but installlation was a challenge, heavy and too many wires to fit in the cup. I was not thrilled with the energy light saving bulb it feels too cold. Overall is a good fan but I felt like I paid too much for it when I saw it selling on Costco for $50.00 less than what I paid at Amazon.
Customer Review: Quality for the fan is great, but the manual is another story
I guess I should have had help from someone when I was installing this fan, but I proceeded anyway.
Overall, the quality of the fan after the installation seems to be exellent. It looks better than the stock picture once installed. Since this was the first ceiling fan I have ever bought and installed by myself, all alone, I cannot compare it with any other brand or ones within other price range. But, again, overall, I would recommend others going for it.
Something to warn by the way.
If someone who has never had any experience installing any ceiling fan, be aware of the included manual. It's an absolutely horror to person like that. I had to look over and over for wiring diagram, and hooking the fan to the fixture. No reference can be found on Hunter's website, so no help from that either.
Anyway, I was able to finish up the job, but again, if someone wants to install it alone, at least ask someone who had experience or have one more person next you to install it.

Customer Review: Fits small windows
Living in a large house with no air conditioning and a lot of small windows, we've spent the last several years searching for window fans that fit in a window that's 23.5" wide. Most window fans are about 24" wide, so they go right back to the store after we pull them out of the box. So, this fan was interesting. Not available in local stores, so we couldn't just take a tape measure to it, we looked at numerous websites. Some said it would fit in a 23" window, and others said the width was 24.1". With summer coming, we took a chance. What we found was that 24.1" is the size of the packaging, and the fan will indeed fit in a 23" window. It also is a full featured fan, reversible, with adjustable louvers, and multiple speeds. That's the good stuff. The bad stuff is two fold. It's noisy; noisier than other window fans we have, and the lowest speed isn't exactly low. The other problem is, one of the two fans we bought died in a shower of sparks the second time we used it. The other is still going strong, but we don't like it enough to replace it with the same model. So, the search for the perfect fan continues....

Best Vornado V6 Flippi Personal Fan, Small, Midnight Blue

Vornado V6 Flippi Personal Fan, Small, Midnight Blue
Vornado introduces an innovative personal air circulator with chic style! The V6 Flippi, although compact, creates powerful air flow and uses a 2 speed control provides the perfect breeze. When not in use, it can also fold down to conceal the fan. With its sleek, high-gloss finish, modern design and whisper quiet functionality, the Flippi will add sophistication and flair to your home or office, but no noise!
Customer Review: Great fan. Disappointing customer service
I ordered the midnight blue version of this fan for my desk at work. When I turned it on for the first time it shorted out. I sent an E-mail to Vornado customer service but never received a reply. I called them a week later and they agreed to send UPS to pick up the defective fan and ship a new one to me. After a month went by and I still had not received a replacement fan. I called customer service again and they told me that they had received my fan and were not sure why the replacement fan had not been sent. They sent one to me the following week. My frustration continued when I opened the new fan to find that they had sent me the Rainddrop (teal green) color. I assume that the Midnight Blue version is no longer available but would have expected Vornado to give me the option to choose a new color instead of choosing for me. The fan works great and because I was desperate for a fan at work so I just kept it vs. dealing with the hassle of returning it again. I figure summer would be over by the time they got it all straightened out. If they had given me the option I probably would have paid to upgrade to the V8 version to get it in black.
Customer Review: It is what it is
I figured I'd write a review, because I feel this little fan has gotten some undue bad press.
For what it is, it is a very good little fan. It's very small, and sleek looking. Within 15 minutes of bringing it into my office cubicle, someone commented on how "cool" it looked.
Beyond the aesthetics of the fan, it produces a nice breeze on the low setting, which is virtually silent. Nothing that powerful, but you can definitely feel the breeze up to five feet away or so. The high setting seems to about double or triple the air moved, but it does produce a slight motor noise. Nothing too loud. At five feet away or so, it's just a low hum. Anything beyond that, and you can't really hear it.
For me, it is exactly what I was looking for. A quiet fan that lowers the temperature by a couple degrees and moves air around.
Pros:
- Virtually silent on the lowest setting
- Perfect for an office environment
- Looks "cool"
- Rotates on its base, so I don't have to pick it up to point it in a different direction.
Cons:
- High setting is arguably loud (it's acceptable in my environment)
- It's not a power house fan (if you just had a two hour work out session, this fan isn't going to cool you down much)
- It takes two hands to change between off/high/low settings, since it swivels on its base, and a dial controls speeds (one hand to hold it from swiveling, and another to turn the dial)
