Customer Review: Vornado Should be Ashamed!

Vornado is known for its powerful fans. I have one that blows air more than three regular fans. So, I felt it was safe to buy this personal fan that is supposed to blow air over 20 feet. NOT! 5 feet at the most and not very much even if you are right next to it. It is at best a weak desk fan and at worst a paper weight. On low speed, you really can not feel it at all But even as a desk fan, it is way overpriced. I've had cheap handheld battery fans that do more.

Customer Review: Do not Waste Your Money on this desktop fan

In a nutshell, the Vornado V6 Personal Fan Flippi has a noisy fan motor that produces very little airflow. Do not waste your money on this fan. There are better alternatives. In my opinion, the very best desktop fan, by far, is the Caframo Chinook which sells for about the same price. The two-speed Caframo Chinook with its 7 "blade (only slightly larger than the Vornado V6 Flippi) is capable of generating tremendous airflow. It is also super quiet - there is no high-Pitched whine or Buzzing sound. All you hear is The soothing sound of Rushing air.

Customer Review: Effective but loud

I have the Air King, if my old Patton little dust. The King Air is actaully much more effectively move air. It's great in this respect. But while reading some other reviews before buying, I have the impression that it would be a quiet fan. Related to Patton, it is not.

Customer Review: Homeowners yes, non-commercial

This seemed a relatively quiet fan to me, but not nearly enough air to move. I was looking for a replacement for my Honeywell Commercial Fan, in tons of air, and apparently is no longer available.
I will say that the fan is nice and probably looks good in any room, with the exception of the bedroom, if you have a light sleeper.

The fan looks nice and works well. It was easy to install, and I loved the hook to hang, while the engine to connect the cables. The pull-chain for the light and fan operations with symbols, in order to draw the correct chain simple. My only problem is that is that it uses standard 60 watt lamps, the fan should be included. In reality, the small candelabra bulbs, not included. I did it after work and had to be on the business, so that the bedroom was light in the night.

Customer Review: false advertising

Be very careful around the blurb as Westinghouse is deceptive. Advertise on standard lamps, as they. Wrong on both counts. You must go and expensive chandelier bulbs, not included in the energy-saving shape.

I have Amazon but they refused, their misleading description.

Go for a more expensive fan.
