The Westinghouse Contempra IV fan is part of Westinghouse's "Hugger" series of fans and is ideal for rooms with low ceilings because it hangs down from the ceiling less than ordinary fans do.The Contempra IV provides powerful cooling and air with its 52-inch, five-blade design. The blades are reversible, with one side being oak and the other walnut, providing versatility in home decorating. Both sides coordinate handsomely with the fan's antique brass finish.
The fan includes a four-light lighting kit with the four globes resting below and at the center of the fan in a square pattern, providing welcome light when necessary. The globes are made of frosted ribbed glass.

Having purchased thousands of dollars of stuff from amazon, I am sorely disappointed in information given. My ceiling has a slight tilt and all of my experience with ceiling fans they have a way to adjust the fit but not this one. I also bought a kitchen dome lamp with a 13 watt bulb but the bulb is a specialty bulb and requires an expensive and difficult 3 prong plug. Both will go to my local thrift store. A previous purchase of a 42 inch tv was advertised with[..]rebate but when it arrived, the "rebate" was paper sports junk. I am very leery of buying from amazon now and will only buy books and small items.

I needed 2 ceiling fans to replace 2 that died. I searched all over town looking for a 52" 5 blade fan w/light kit for under 50.00 couldn't find anything at Lowes, Home Depot anywhere. Found these on line 2 for 98.00 )including tax and shipping) they are installed now and work awesome!!
