Customer Review: Hunter Bathroom Fan
This fan is so quiet while taking a shower, I sometimes think it is not even on! The overhead light is not too bright because it takes the miniature 60 watt bulbs, but it emits a fair amount of light. The nightlight is nice to have during the night and emits enough light to see by when making a trip during the night.
The fan was easy to wire and rough in and looks great in my newly remodeled bathroom.
There are other brands that look like this, but why buy those when this is the best name in the industry?!

This fan really cools me off. It circulates the air very well. It is pretty quiet but slightly loud on high. This fan is really cheep for a high velocity fan. It is really worth the money! THIS IS A GREAT FAN!
Customer Review: Will this be the last fan I need to buy?
I purchased the HV-9C, (C for chrome, it is made in black as well) about two years ago. It has been a great fan so far. I have had it turned on low all this time, (except for cleaning) and had not a bit of problem out of it. I needed a fan to use in a small extra bedroom (10x12) just to keep the air circulating and create a little bit of white noise. This fan does all that and it was the right price for me.
A local store had several fans out on display (running) and the HV-9C by Lakewood sounded nice and quiet. I didn't ever remember hearing of Lakewood before, but they say they have been in business for sixty years. I see why, my fan is built well and I expect it to last for many years.
I do clean it every now and then. I just vacuum the dust out of the grill and start it back up. I imagine one day it may need a bit of fan oil like some of my other fans but for now it is fine.
The HV-9C does just what you want a fan for, move air, but maybe just a bit better than most of the others out there.

Customer Review: Excellent Fan with Easy-To-Use Front-Mounted Controls
I own three of these, and I may buy another one just in case they ever stop making it. I especially like the convenience of the front-mounted control switch. I wish more fan manufacturers used front-mounted controls because it's so much easier to use. I can't stand loud fans, and I find this one to be relatively quiet. I keep one on my desk at work, and the guy in the next cubicle says he can't even hear it. It would be better if you could change the angle of the airflow, however. And I would also prefer some neutral colors that blend into the background better such as tan or white. That said, it's still a great little fan for the price.

Customer Review: Vey quiet fan and pushes the air good
I tried different fans because I smoke at my computer and this one is so quiet that I can actually hear my power supply and that is a Antec and very quiet. I walk about 3 feet away from the computers and I can't hear the fan anymore that is how quiet it is. I would recommend this fan if you are looking for a little quiet fan.
